I've had many people ask me what a REBLRDNK is. Well, to be quite honest, it is an acronym that I came up with on a moment's notice when I first got online back in 1996. My ISP needed a username that was 8 characters long, so I just took some letters out of my CB handle, which was, "Rebel Redneck". It just sort of stuck after that, and I haven't really wanted to change it. First of all, I am in no way a racist. I am a Texas boy, born and raised, who happened to also be a big, "Dukes of Hazzard" TV Series fan as a teenager. That is where my use of the Confederate battle flag comes from. I displayed it proudly on my race car as well as on my dually pickup truck, and make no apologies for it. Anyone who knew me when I was growing up can understand where the, "Rebel" part comes from. As for the, "Redneck" part, I was raised on Farming and Ranching. Nowdays, I'm more of a, "High-Tech" Redneck. I am a forty-something man who has experienced a great deal of what life has to offer. I am a published Photographer, retired Sailor and former Firefighter/Paramedic. I have traveled the world and had the opportunity to live abroad. I have been SCUBA diving in the Red Sea, which pretty much ruined all other dive sites by comparison. Saving the best for last, I am the proud father of some great children, including a U.S. Soldier, and the grateful husband of a wonderful lady. If any of this sounds like bragging, well hey, it's my site! ;-)
